Wealth Is More Than Money
Leave Your Legacy Behind
Our clients often realize that when wealth passes to younger generations who don’t have the values that allowed that wealth to be created, the result is almost always destructive. Fortunately, that outcome can be avoided with careful planning. There are strategies the senior generation can implement that can actually help instill important core values in family members from the younger generation. At Wilson + Miller in Little Rock, we can help develop those strategies.
What Values Do You Want to Pass to the Next Generation?
This isn’t a complete list, but these are the virtues our clients most frequently tell us are important to them.
- Financial Responsibility
- Work ethic
We assist our clients in passing on the values that are important to them through the use of several tools and strategies:

- Priceless Conversations Audio Recordings
- Written Family History
- Family Mission Statements

- Incentive Trusts
- Mediated Family Retreats
- Wisdom Literature

Your American Legacy Workshop
In this three-hour workshop, the workshop leader works with participants to clarify the values that are important to them and to identify and preserve the source material in family history and tradition that can be useful in shaping a compelling story that will be engaging to younger family members. In the workshop, participants also explore a variety of strategies that can be used to effectively instill those values in younger generations in a permanent and lasting way. The workshop is offered to groups of 30 or more upon request. If you are interested in scheduling a workshop, please contact us.
Book: Your American Legacy
Stan and his wife Patrice have worked on this book jointly for several years. In this book, they describe a process that will give families a roadmap to identify and clarify the values that are important to them — things like integrity, faith, and work ethic — and then transfer those values to younger generation family members in ways that are interesting and compelling. This book is intended to be a practical handbook that will stimulate dialogue between generations and culminate in a real action plan within families. These ideas are offered in a series of workshops using the book which is now an international best seller.
